When you’re listed as one of the top producing artists of all time — selling a record 200 million albums worldwide — it’s hard to go to resorts, or really anywhere, with your family.

So you do the next best thing: You create a private resort for your family, complete with a water park.

Celine Dion’s Jupiter Island estate, sitting on nearly 6 acres with more than 400 linear feet of waterfront, is truly a vacation oasis, designed by the singer for her family and friends. And it’s for sale, recently listed for $72.5 million.

The Grammy Award-winning singer, and now Las Vegas staple, bought the estate’s two homes for just $12.5 million and $7 million each back in 2004 and 2008, respectively. Increasing home values — even Jupiter Island’s median home value, which currently is rising 13.3 percent year-over-year — don’t account for the large price tag. But the two homes, three pools and water park, as well as the prime oceanfront, do.

“It really is a true water park,” explained listing agent Joseph Montanaro of Sotheby’s International Realty Quebec, who shares the listing with Cristina Condon of Sotheby’s International Realty in Palm Beach. “It has slides and a lazy river at the bottom of it. It has a foot bridge at the bottom of it where kids can play. Being the person that she is, it’s hard for her to get out of the house with the kids, so she created this for her and her family.”

The home was designed by Dion and husband/manager René Angélil in 2010 and took more than two years to complete, Montanaro said.

“It’s the largest waterfront estate on Jupiter Island,” he said. “It’s just drop-dead gorgeous. You don’t realize until you’re on the site [of the home] how much oceanfront 400 linear feet is.”

Described as a Bahamian-style resort, the 5-bedroom home is quite diva-worthy. The master bedroom includes a walk-in closet with an automated rack for clothing and shoes, as well as a wraparound terrace with hot tub. Although the main home, measuring nearly 10,000 square feet, has guest rooms, there’s a completely separate guesthouse with 8 bedrooms on the property. A little bit more unusual — especially for Florida — is that each home has a full basement, providing additional storage for cars as well as rooms specifically designed for the kids.

Dion performs regularly at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas with tickets starting at $55.Her continual gig there led her to list the Jupiter Island home, as she no longer spends as much time there. She also spends far less time in Montreal and is currently selling a property there as well. Montanaro, who also holds that listing, reports that a $28 million offer was made on that home a few days ago.
