As the grandson of the founder of the second bigger drink company in the world, Pernod-Ricard, Alexandre Ricard, always knew there would be
a place for him in the company....He knew it since 1996, when having just graduated from University of Pennsylvania, passed his first interview with the company. He recalls this experience as painful.

The human resources manager, at the time, had told him: Listen, taking in consideration of your name, we will find you a job in the company !

Young Alexander could have done then, what most people would : Choose the easy way and accept the job.

Well, he didn't and spent seven years in the "out world", working for Andersen Consulting and later for Morgan Stanley.

Recently, he met with the now retired human resorts manager, and told him that this interview, back in 1996, was the best thing ever happened to him.

Finally, Alexandre Ricard entered the company in 2003.

He says : When I was in M.Stanley, I was used to work 24/7...Thought things would be more comfortable in Pernod-Ricard, but they weren't....
